Within the Customer Service team, the Customer Service Representative will contribute to sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. As a Customer Service and Supply Chain Support, you are the key contact for Schunk Xycarb Technology, ensuring seamless communication between customers and our global organization.

As a Customer Service and Supply Chain Support, you are the key contact for Schunk Xycarb Technology, ensuring seamless communication between customers and our global organization. You play a vital role in sales support, order-to-cash processes, and customer relationship management, driving business growth and operational efficiency.
What are your main responsibilities?
You are the first point of contact for our customers, you answer questions, provide information but also think up solutions when needed. Everything to create and maintain a good relationship with the customer. Within the organization you will collect information on e.g. delivery times and shipments of orders. You contribute and support the development/implementation of the sales plan, you do this together with your colleagues worldwide.
Communication is very important in this role, not forgetting the internal departments. There lies the information that must be collected to do your job. You maintain those contacts well. Your colleagues from other departments know how to find you and you make sure that all the information collected reaches the right people.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries on delivery timelines, collaborating with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Planning, Product, and Finance teams.
- Draft and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely responses.
- Master the order-to-cash process in the ERP system.
- Maintain customer master data, understand specific requirements, and assist with annual price updates.
- Coordinate with customers, warehouses, and overseas teams on orders, invoices, deliveries, and returns.
- Support forecasting for key accounts and business plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and consignment stocks.
- Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide essential data for business operations and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
What are your skills?
For this position it is important that you can work independently, you are proactive and think along with solutions. In the position you get the space to implement and carry through your solutions. Other skills important for this position are:
- An Bachelor degree, preferably in the direction of Commerce or Supply Chain;
- Knowledge of and working with automated systems (ERP);
- Flexible and stress resistant with a problem solving ability;
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Available for a fulltime job based in Helmond.
