Schunk Xycarb Technology is the one-stop leading global supplier of Silicon Carbide (SiC) coated Graphite, Quartz, Ceramic and Silicon consumable products and related technology services for the Microelectronics industry. Schunk Xycarb Technology produces high-tech process-chamber equipment parts for wafer production and processing, including dedicated customer engineering support. Our advanced solutions enable leading-edge manufacturing of next-generation Semiconductor, Optoelectronics, Solar and Silicon products and applications. Your responsibilities
- Manage key supplier accounts, including identification, evaluation, selection, and ongoing development.
- Lead contract negotiations and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to secure optimal terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and delivery reliability, addressing any issues as they arise.
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, and tender processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure effective procurement outcomes.
- Ensure procurement activities are executed in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.
- Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and procurement analytics tools.

Your profile
- Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, decisive, and solution-oriented, while remaining approachable and genuinely interested in colleagues and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and connecting the bigger picture.
- Solid knowledge of contract management, procurement, and operational processes.
- A clear vision and innovative mindset, with proven experience in supporting and driving organizational change.
- A strong belief in teamwork built on trust, clarity, and a sense of humor.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
- Well-developed negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Comprehensive understanding of the semiconductor and chemical industries, and/or a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
