For the Planning team in Schunk Xycarb Technology, we are looking for a
Supply Chain Improvement Leader
As a Supply Chain improvement leader your drive (internal) supply chain (Planning & Logistics) improvements that will significantly contribute into positioning the SXT supply chain for success. What are your main responsibilities?
As a supply chain improvement leader you Improve existing supply chain (internal), set up new supply chains in respect to multi-site and integrate them in standard operations. Other tasks you have are:
- Evaluate existing supply chain processes to identify and propose new improvement opportunities;
- Coordinate and implement improved processes / procedures to establish new ways of working;
- Gather and interpret data to define and monitor supply chain KPI’s;
- Setup reports for insight into supply chain reliability, delivery time and work in progress;
- Consult with all involved internal SXT departments and external Schunk partners and suppliers on the internal logistics topics;
- Key user of ERP. Setup new processes within the ERP System, integrate new designed supply chain workflows in existing workflows within the different production sites, driving master data management in ERP system.
What are your skills?
For this function it is important that you have strong analytic skills in order to function well in the role. The right candidate for this position will have
- At least a Bachelor degree in Logistics or Technical Business Administration;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position/ planning position;
- Project management skills;
- A knowledge of ERP Systems;
- Familiar with general regulations with respect to logistics and logistics flows;
- A good command of the English language (written and spoken) (Dutch is not mandatory but appreciated)
