Strategic Business Area (SBA) Manager

The Product Marketing organization is a global department, focusing on our microelectronics business unit. This team drives our business strategy and execution within different market segments. In this position you will lead a team in Product Management for products and customers active in Power Electronics. Our SBA Managers work in close cooperation with the global sales team as well as with all our engineers and production facilities. Together we manage our market and commercial business.

What are your main responsibilities?

In this fulltime position (located in Helmond, Netherlands) you drive our Power Electronics business and product portfolio from a global product marketing perspective. Within this role you are responsible for capacity allocation to realize new product introductions. You’ll develop pricing strategies, market roadmaps and customer prioritisation. 
You get your input from different sources like customer visits and attending conferences and fairs. You’ll work a lot with our sales, production, R&D, customer service, engineering, HR and finance teams. In order to grow and to develop you are an excellent communicator. 
 
You are leading an international team of ~ 10 product managers, project managers and engineers reporting to you. With P&L responsibility you report directly to the SXT VP Sales, Marketing & Business Development. You are directly responsible to execute upon our growth strategy for the semiconductor industry and thus contribute to the overall growth strategy of SXT. 

What are your skills?

  • A Masters or PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or related field;
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in technical-commercial functions in the high-tech and/or materials industry. Proven experience in the semiconductor consumables or equipment industry is strongly preferred;
  • A strong drive and ambition;
  • Natural leadership skills, proven ability to manage commercial teams;
  • Ability to strategically and tactically oversee complex problems, ability to deal with ambiguity;
  • Strong and proven understanding of product marketing, business markets, market research and data analysis;
  • You are used to setting business goals and achieving them;
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English. 
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
