Product Marketing Engineer
The Marketing organization is a global department focused to develop and realize global sales in Semiconductor-, LED- and Solar Industry. Product Managers and Application Engineers are focused on the marketing and development of the product portfolio of the Strategic Business Areas. The Sales Managers are dedicated to a region or key account and handling all businesses to the process of market development.What are you going to do?
- Assisting the Product Managers as a liaison between the departments Customer Service, R&D, Product Development & Engineering, Quality Assurance and Project Management
- First point of contact and follow up on actions/questions from sales-customer contacts
- Manage NPI product introduction together with Launch & Sales team
- Prepare for periodic analysis for margins/forecast/sales performance to budget etc.
- Pricing/ costing overviews and preparing for margin reviews
- Deliver product and technical data; create and maintain product data and commercial promotion material
What will you bring?
A Bachelor or Master in e.g. Physics, Chemistry or Material Science
Starter or ready to make your next step after being successful for at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the (hightech) manufacturing industry
Commercial affinity; relevant working experience (sales or business development)
Understanding of product marketing, market, market research and market data
It is also preferable that:
You have relationship building skills, business wise and creative problem solving ability
You understand customers; are able to translate their needs/ questions to our capabilities
You are result driven, have a can-do attitude and are reliable
You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English and preferably Dutch and/ or German
