Your responsibilities

  • Developing measurement programs for 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) based on customer and product specifications;
  • Testing and validating your own measurement programs on the production floor;
  • Determining the measurability of NPI (New Product Introduction) products, including selecting the required measuring instruments and fixtures;
  • Advising Quality Engineering on measurement frequencies and appropriate measuring equipment;
  • Preparing customer-specific measurement reports (FAI) in collaboration with Quality Engineering;
  • Collaborating with Product Engineering and Quality Engineering to ensure new products are measured correctly and fully documented;
  • Optimizing measurement programs during the ramp-up to volume production.

Your profile

  • MBO+ or Bachelor’s (HBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field;
  • Knowledge of 3D measurement techniques, GD&T, and measuring instruments;
  • Experience with ZEISS and Hexagon measuring machines, including the software packages Calypso and PC-DMIS;
  • Several years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role within a production environment, with solid expertise in metrology and measurement techniques;
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both written and spoken.
