For the Equipment & Process Engineering department, we are looking for a
Contamination Control Specialist
The EPE department is responsible for process- and equipment monitoring and improvements for both the (thermo-chemical) coating department (TCA) and the mechanic processing (micromachining) department (MBA). The department translates Research & Development innovations into efficient manufacturing processes, with a focus on safety and constant quality. You, as a Process Engineer in the team, are going to add expertise for all activities that are related to contamination control, our cleanrooms and the cleanliness of our products and processes. What are your main responsibilities?
Your main responsibility is to quantify the current situation, understand the need, maintain the standard and improve as required with regards to contamination control. You will be involved in all projects, activities and problems that are related to cleanroom and clean line expansions and modifications. You will set and improve our standards with regard to cleanrooms, contamination control and cleanliness and will be consulted in related problems and activities. You are able to work in a project-based manner and above all a structured team player working closely together with the Operations team and Facilities & Maintenance. You might occasionally need to travel to support our other production locations with your expertise.
What are your skills?
For this function it’s important that you have experience in bringing contamination control to a higher standard and are familiar with high demands on contamination free products. The right candidate for this position will have:
- At least bachelor’s degree, in a technical direction;
- Knowledge of bulk and surface contamination;
- Expertise in ISO14644;
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in a project environment;
- Safety is on top of your mind;
- You have a proactive and results-driven attitude;
- A good command of the English language (written and spoken) (Dutch is not mandatory but appreciated);
